Formula in Percentage Complete Column

I am trying to create a formula that if the status column is "complete", the percentage complete column = 100%. The cell won't take the formula. Is this not possible or am I doing something wrong?

Are you using dependencies? If yes, you can't have formulas in the % Complete.

Hello My question is similar to your question. i need some help. I'm trying to create a formula that if the status row is 100 %, the status row will change to "complete", and if it less than 100% = "in progress" and 0%= "not started" Also I'm not using any dependencies?

Will you also be manually changing anything in the Status column, or do you want to set this as a Column Formula?

Try something like this:

=IF([% Complete]@row = 1, "Complete", IF([% Complete]@row = 0, "Not Started", "In Progress"))

If this doesn't work it would be helpful to see a screen capture of your sheet, but please block out any sensitive data.

Hi,

I use a very similar formula to set status but I don't know how to only apply it to Children, and not the Parent task.

Does anyone have an idea how I can explode Summary tasks from this Column formula?
