Is there any way to make the interface more intuitive/usable?

Hi all, I'm a new user here and I've been tasked with evaluating Smartsheet in conjunction with Calendar App and 10,000ft view.

Stakeholders are liking the output, resource view and dashboard visuals and information, however I'm struggling with lower level user adoption because the interface and workflow feels very slow/basic when you compare with other tools that are out there such as MS Project, Wrike etc. I wonder if there's something I'm missing or if there's a roadmap to enhance this side of data input, my workflow is currently to create programmes in MSP and then import to SS as this works much faster than working int he table/gantt view within the SS platform.

It fills me with hope! We're going into this full tilt so I need user adoption to be willing!

I don't see anything to do with the Gantt/grid/card display in that preview, I'm hoping that this is that part of this development?

Yes, I wouldn't worry about the user adoption. I've never experienced a toll/service with a quicker adoption rate than Smartsheet.
