Does anyone know maximum how many changes Smartsheet can record in its cell-history (of any given cell), please?

As far as I'm aware, there is no limit to the number of changes recorded in the cell-history of a cell. Is there a specific use-case that you wanted to verify?

Well, I'm quite impressed with this feature! It's terrific! And am planning to use it as an official reference point in an upcoming project. :)

You may also want to think about setting up weekly recurring backups (depending on what plan you're on), or using the Activity Log to search through and filter down changes based on dates (again, depending on your plan).
