Report Filtering on a Cell

Hi all,

Is it an option to Filter out items based on 1 cell in a sheet? We have a project plan and there is a cell that designates the entire project complete that is at the top. Is there a way to exclude data from sheets that have that cell as complete or do you have to filter based on an entire column?

You would have to filter based on an entire column. You could create a hidden helper column and use a cell reference to replicate that into each row on the sheet.

Additional notes on that... I don't think you can use a locked in cell reference as a column formula, but you can use a cell reference in a Summary Field and then reference that Summary Field as a column formula. This should help avoid autofill issues if new rows are being added regularly.
