Dropdown Column determines second dropdown column contents

HI All - thank you for any help on this. I have a form entry and in the first column drop down I have choices A,B, and C. Now for a second dropdown column, If I choose A in hte first column, in the second column dropdown I want to see choice 1,23. If I choose B in the first column, I want to see North, East, South, West. and so on.

Any ideas if this is possible and if so how? thanks!

As a possible workaround, you could use a form and the conditional logic feature.

When people enter the data, are they entering it directly in the sheet, or are they using a form?
