Generate Documents - automation

Does anyone know if generate documents can be used in Automations? Specifically if a condition is met for a record row, we would like to have a workflow where a PDF would be generated and e-mailed to a contact.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

As a possible workaround, you could use a 3rd party solution. Is that an option?
