Adding an attachment to an approval

Is there a way to add an attachment to an approval request automation? I am collecting a document in a form and want to send it to an approver for review and approval. When I add the attachment field it gives the option of uploading another document not sending out the document I already collected. TY!

Attachments in Approval Requests are visible from within in the Approval form itself. Your approver will need to open up the Approval form and click the drop-down arrow beneath the Attachment field:

I would recommend being really clear in the Custom Subject of the workflow so that the approver knows where to go to find the file (see: Customize the Content of Your Alerts and Requests).
