Dynamic view

If I have an existing Smartsheet with users invited, do I need to invite them to dynamic view AND disable their access to the "normal" smartsheet? Or does the dynamic view invite override the smartsheet invite?

Yes, you'd need to share the Dynamic View separately, and if you want, you can remove the access to the Smartsheet Items. Dynamic View doesn't override the sharing in Smartsheet.
