Sorting and Freezing

How to you stop Smartsheet from resorting when other users input and save changes. I have the columns locked that need to be sorted, however they keep on moving out of order. We sorted by ascending row ID and it keeps going out of order when staff make and save other changes. No one is manually re ordering it. Can I permanently freeze a column without other people having the ability to unfreeze it?

the best way to maintain sorting is to just view your data in a report.

Smartsheet sorting is a NIGHTMare.

You can create a report with all of the data from your sheet and sort the report. It will always load sorted.

A solution that would be perfect for this use-case is the premium add-on, Dynamic View.
