Why cant I select more than 1 contact to cell in the "Assigned To" column

I want to add more than one contact to the cell in the "Assigned To column. I have settings for this column set to "multiple contacts per cell" however I can only select 1 contact from the list I have created. .

Hope you are fine, when you create the Assigned To column did you add the contacts you need to the list in the column, because if you add only 1 contact and you check the checkbox of restricted to value only then you will be able to add this contact only.
