What is the definition of Uncategorized?
Hi Experts,
I am a brand new Smartsheet user and this is my first visit to the community.
In Card View (View by Assigned To), the left-most column is Uncategorized. I can't figure out what this column is supposed to represent. Originally I thought that it contained unassigned tasks, as many of the tasks in that column are unassigned. But some are assigned. I'm sure I'm missing something that is staring me right in the face. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What are the other lanes labeled as (what are the other "categories")?
-
The other lanes are labeled with resource names (e.g. Joe Smith, Hank Jones, etc.).
What I wound up doing was creating a lane manually in Card View for Joe Smith, then dragging Joe Smith's tasks from Uncategorized to the Joe Smith lane. This seemed to do the trick. Not sure why Joe Smith's tasks were under Uncategorized.

Hi @Tom McCann
I hope you're well and safe!
Strange!
Can you maybe share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic day!

Are you using a Contact type column or a Dropdown type?

Hi Andree,
Unfortunately, everything in the card view is sensitive info, so I am unable to share. Like I said in my earlier post, creating a lane manually and dragging the card to this new lane sufficed as a workaround.

Paul, I was originally using a Contact type column and then switched to a Dropdown type.
