Help - I'm on a trial of Smartsheet but I can't enter any information into any cell on any document?

I can't create anything. Its not frozen it just won't let me enter anything.

My user is valid and I'm not logged in with another email address.

Try logging out/in and restart the browser if that doesn't work.

Can you also check the Permissions you have on the sheets where you're looking to add data? Is it possible that you've been given Viewer Permissions? (See here for more information: Sharing Permission Levels)

I have no idea where to find Permissions (I have used smart-sheet before but its been ages) eeek.

Oh I've just found it... I've logged out and then back in.

I'm down as user admin so I assume I should have permission to do everything.

I have added 2 of my other email accounts as well just to be safe. But I am still having the same problem :(

Hi @Lauren Payne

It will show "View Only" next to the name of the sheet if that's your sharing permissions for the item. You can click on the blue "Share" button to double check your own permissions:

Can you clarify what it is you're looking to edit? Can you confirm if this is a Sheet or Report type of item? Screen captures would be helpful, but please block out any sensitive data!
