Can conformation email be mandatory instead of optional?

We have a problem that some users of our SmartSheet Form think they have submitted, but for some reason, it was not submitted. Is there a way to make the confirmation email mandatory?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

If the form is set so that the users have to be logged in to Smartsheet to access the form, you could use one of the following workarounds.

1. URL-Query to set the Confirmation Option as default
2. Set up a Workflow in the sheet with an alert that would trigger after the submission.
