Master Roll Up that Auto references a new sheet created from a template

Hello SS Community,

I am creating a master roll up sheet that counts how many "at risk" tasks a team member has across several projects. We have a Project template that each job gets created from.

My wish is to have the master roll up automatically reference the "health" and "assigned to" columns each time a new project is created.

Is there a way to achieve this? I tried creating the reference and then turning the sheet I referenced into a template but it wouldn't carry over.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Report that would automatically update
• Control Center (see below)

A solution that would be perfect for this use-case is the premium add-on, Control Center.

Our team at SBP have implemented this many times for clients. As it isn't an out of the box function within Smartsheet we can write a quick API program and host it for you to do exactly what you are needing. There is a small development fee and an Saas agreement to maintain, but it works beautifully.
