Trying to figure ouut how to alert the Owner when he/she is assigned a new Action Item on the SmartSheet. (Owner is a column linked to users). Want to avoid everyone (45+ users) getting an alert everytime an owner get a new assignment -- just the specific owner. Thanks!
Set it up as:
Where
"OWNER" "Is one of" "# Values Selected" (<--- everyone selected)
Email
"Owner" "Right Away"
Not sure why the menu showed up twice...
In this example, your trigger condition is when Assigned To (or in your case, Owner) is changed. When that happens, you want to send it to whoever is in the Assigned To/Owner column, and you can specify that in the Email option.
Something else you may need to consider, is if you want to receive notifications for items you change you will need to change your personal settings under Account > Personal Settings > Settings -- Include my changes in sheet notifications.
