Here is a link that contains some information as well as a published solution for parsing data out from a text string.

Paul i mean
iMEAN to get the data like this not all in one cell

Right. You have to pull the string into one cell and then use one of the Parsing solutions detailed here in the community. My above post links to one of them.

Are you struggling with the parsing solution or the COUNTIFS? The COUNTIFS is applied after the data has been parsed.

Referencing THIS SHEET...
First you will create the three columns on the right of the sheet (List/Comma/String).
Then you would use the three columns on the left to determine which formula goes into which cell and whether or not it is dragfilled (or possibly manually entered data).
Your existing JOIN/DISTINCT formula would go in the String1 cell, then the rest of the formulas would apply as is with the exception of the delimiter. You will want to use a matching delimiter. So if you have "-" as your delimiter in your JOIN formula, you will want to change the delimiter references in the other formulas to "-", or if you wanted to be able to copy/paste the other formulas, you will need to change the delimiter in your JOIN formula to a comma ",".
