Left hand Nav - Keep expanded or pinned?

The left-hand nav (with Home, Recent, Favs etc) is by default collapsed which means an extra click every time I want to access an item.

Does anyone have suggestions for making this easier? Are there keyboard shortcuts I can use? Or can I pin the nav open so I don't have to click it open every time?

There currently isn't a way to pin tabs from the left hand navigation menu open. Please let our Product team know about your use-case and request by filling in this form, here!

There are a number of keyboard shortcuts that may help you navigate through Smartsheet, such as the Ctrl + / or Command + / to search for and open a Sheet. See this Help Article for more information: Keyboard Shortcuts.
