Notify form submitter that their request has been declined

Hi, How do you automatically notify the person who has submitted the form if their request has been approved or declined?

You would have to capture their email address in a contact type column. Then you can set up an Alert Automation to send them the notification based on the approval column as the trigger.

Brilliant. So now that works, how does the person who requested re-submit the same request with feedback addressing any concerns?

You could send an Update Request instead of an Alert.

What if there are multiple "submitters", how could we notify that particular form's submitter when it has been approved or declined?

@Miriam W. You can only have one submitter per form submission.
