Is there a way to use a form so that it creates a parent row with children rows when it's submitted?

I'm wanting to create a Purchase Order Request Form that when submitted it adds a parent row to a sheet identifying the new purchase order and then has a child(ren) row(s) underneath with the details of the items being requested, kind of like this PO Log Template I found here: https://www.smartsheet.com/order-forms-templates

I saw a similar question here in the community from 2015 saying it wasn't possible, but I am hoping that now in 2021 this is possible. 🤞

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• I developed a solution using two forms (or the same form by using conditional logic) that can be used to submit the main information and then the other information on a new row for each submission after the first.

Would that work/help?

@Andrée Starå the work around described above, i believe would work for me. I have 4 forms (different Sheets) that I would like to populate/transfer into one sheet. Can you please provide more info?
