link hourly rates to project schedule

I would like to link my artist's hourly rates to tasks in a project schedule to get an estimated hard cost.

How do I do this?

You can use a VLOOKUP structure to have everything in one sheet or combine it with cross-sheet formulas to have it in another sheet.

How many artists can there be?
