How to Complete Smartsheet Feature Manipulation Exercise

Hello,

I began the Smartsheet Feature Manipulation exercise yesterday as part of the Smartsheet Product Certification and I would like to pick up where I left off. I have found a site that says, "Download Exam Folder and Complete Part 2 Feature Manipulation Exercise in Smartsheet." However, I am reluctant to click the link out of concern that the system will re-download my files and the work I completed yesterday will be wiped out. Does anyone know if the work I did on the Manipulation Exercise will be wiped out by clicking that link? And is there another way to getting to the files I downloaded yesterday? Thank you for whatever advise you can provide.

Hi @Patrick Behan

The folder you originally downloaded will still be in your Smartsheet account! Go to "Browse" on the left hand toolbar, then look through your Sheets folder to find the one that says "Product Certification Exam Folder".

You can also find it by using the Search function in Smartsheet.

I hope your week has been going well. Also, I certainly appreciated your good wishes on the certification exam -- perhaps it helped because this morning I passed the Part 2 quiz, which I believe means that I earned the Smartsheet Product Certification.

Would you be so kind as to provide me instructions on how I can download the certification itself? I presume it is a one-pager that looks like a diploma. I was unable to find a link on my Smartsheet Home page, and I haven't received an e-mail from the Certification Team of Smartsheet providing the certificate. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Congratulations on passing Part 2, that's great news!

Yes, since you have passed both parts of the exam you should receive an email from the Certification team with a certification that you can download or add to your LinkedIn, etc. This can take a bit of time for the team to create, so you won't see it immediately.

I would recommend reading through the Product Certification Exam FAQ information or reaching out to the team directly (the email address is at the top of the page I've linked, or is in one of the FAQ answers).

You can access a pdf of your certification(s) as well as the link to add to your LinkedIn profile by signing into excellence.smartsheet.com. Then click on the little icon in the top right and select "My Profile".

I never received a confirmation email for this year's certification either, but it was available immediately through the above.
