Email Alert Notification
Hello,
I know Smartsheet will allow you to create an automation that sends an email alert to an email from a contact list or to someone who has access to the sheet. Is there a way to send an alert to an email address in a particular column that does not meet the previous criteria? I am setting up a new hire form that a manager will complete on behalf of the employee. One of the values collected is going to be the employee's email and I'd like to be able to use that value to let the employee know there is paperwork they need to complete.

Hi Khari,
Set you email column property to be a contact column. Managers can enter just an email and it can be used in automation.
