Un-editable drop down cells in a report.
I am trying to make a report with a column that has a drop-down with preset selections. The problem is that when I try to access that column from the report sheet (not the master sheet, master sheet works just fine), the drop-down column is un-editable (greyed out). If I set it as a text/number type column, then I can edit it on the report.
Any ideas on how to solve it?

I hope you're well and safe!
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

When you say "preset", do you mean you have a formula in them to set a "default" value? If so, cells with formulas in them cannot be edited through a report.

No, I do not have formulas in them. I only put in selections, separated by rows. I will attach screenshots, so everything is a bit clearer.

Does your Report have more than one Sheet included in it?
For example, lets say this Report has Sheet A and Sheet B included.
If this one "comment" column only appears in Sheet A, then you will not be able to select this dropdown from any rows associated with Sheet B (since the column doesn't exist in Sheet B).
You'll need to add the exact same column (same column name, type, and column values) to Sheet B as well, so that you can select different options from the Report and it will populate the underlying sheet.
(See: Report on Data from Multiple Sheets)
Let me know if that was the issue!
Cheers,
Genevieve

Thank you for the answer.
No it does not have more than one sheet, except the Main sheet, and the report itself.
