Track Who Completed an Item

I am trying to track who actually changes a dropdown to "Completed". I know I can check individually using the cell history, but I need an easier way to monitor who is completing which tasks without having them update the field manually. I have a contact list column I can use for this, but I can't seen to get an efficient way of automatically updating this, either using formulas or automation.

I have used "modified by", but if there are any other changes made to the record, which does happen, this will change again.

Hi @Janelle Alexander ,

There’s an idea of auto assigning an agent depending on a column type,

If Column A is Apple then it’s assigned to agent “Agent Name”, by using vlookup function, and having on another sheet, Column of types and column of contact, types - Apple, contact - Agent Name.

If you want to do this, then it’ll auto assign, so you’ll see who it was assigned to.
