Automated alerts not filtered out by condition set....

I have 2 slightly different alerts set up, both with a condition added based on a specific column. My goal is that when the alert is triggered it will only be completed if column A has a specific result. Instead it is sending both alerts out regardless of what is in column A. What am I misunderstanding in this process?
