Sum a range based on the status of a check box

try something like:
=SUMIF([Approved by Anthony]6:[Approved by Anthony]7,1,[Price/Quotes ex GST]6:[Price/Quotes ex GST]7)
this would provide the totals for rows 6 and 7, but only if they have been checked off.
