Parent Row Counting Problems

Hello all, I'm having an issue with counting parent rows the way I require.

Problem so far: I've created a Counter column where I have summarized the Main Project column to give me all rows with Children greater than 0. Then I used a CountIFS formula for greater than zero and assigned to a specific person.

The Issue I'm facing is that these formulas don't return all parent rows. It returns parent rows that have children, but doesn't reflect the projects with zero parent rows. When I try to do greater than or equal to 0 in the formula, then it returns all rows with children.

Any advice would be great!

Ok, I think I just solved it doing a Counter column with Ancestors instead of Children....Then did a summarize if Ancestors = 0 resulting in all Level 1 rows
