Linking Rows in a Master Sheet to a Separate Sheet
I have a master work plan with various departments. Each department is a parent row and the department's tasks are child rows that roll up. I would like to take a department's entire section from this master sheet and link each task/row to a separate sheet that is dedicated to only that department. My goal is if a change is made on either one both are updated.
If I also added a new task/row to one sheet, will that automatically carry over to the other sheet because it's a child row to that parent row/department?

I hope you're well and safe!
First, have you explored using reports?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic 4th of July weekend!

Thanks @Andrée Starå I'm familiar with reports, but would like to link two sheets together. Please correct me if I'm misinformed, but I'm not able to add a row in reports.
