Pulling data based on current date within a date range

Hello!

I am currently working with a team who organizes their tasks by 2 week sprints. Each sprint has it's own name (i.e. the first 2 weeks of the fiscal year, 4/5/21 - 4/16/21 is called the "Aqua" sprint, 4/19/21 - 4/30/21 is called the "Blue" sprint, and so on). In my Smartsheet, I have the name of the sprint in the first column, the start date of the sprint in the second and the end date in the third.

At the end of the day, I would like our team dashboard to automatically pull the current sprint we are in. Is there a formula that checks these columns against the current date and then pulls the correct Sprint name?

Thank you!

    Hi @Kristen Evans

I hope you're well and safe!

It's possible, but not using the Column Names, so we'd probably need to add a so-called helper row to make it work.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!

    Best,
