Hyperlink in Reports not Working

Hi, We have generated a report with hyperlinks to other sheets. When we add this report to our workapp the hyperlink does not transfer over in the sheet viewer within the app. Any advice?

Is the hyperlink added to a column?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

Hi Bassam, we all have access to the sheet itself and viewing the sheet by itself the hyperlinks work. When the sheet is added to our workapp. Viewing through the workapp the hyperlink is converted to just text no link. I am looking around in the workapp settings to see if I missed something.

The dashboard hyperlinks work but the sheets and reports hyperlinks are not working.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible/supported now, but it's an excellent idea!

Hi,

when you creating the hyperlink:

instead of selecting: "Link to other Smartsheet",

select: "Link to URL", and enter the url of the sheet you want to link (you can get the url on the sheet properties panel) ...

Note: this will not open the sheet in WorkApps window, but it will open it in another tab, directly in Smartsheet (in this case, access to sheet will be based on Smartsheet permissions, and not WorkApps) ...
