Date format

I am linking a date into a cell from another sheet and it is in the correct format in the original sheet i.e. 5/8/21 but when looking in the new sheet it is in the US format 8/5/21. How can I avoid this?

Hey Heather, does the solution here from Smartsheet's documentation help at all? Do you have the ability to edit sheet #2 and change the format of the date column?
