Can you scan/update info behind a dynamic QR code?

Does anyone know if Smartsheet has a way to scan a dynamic QR code and update the information associated with it?

I'm guessing there would be a sheet of raw data and a secondary sheet that backs the dynamic QR code that mines the most recent data from the raw data sheet. Any ideas appreciated!

Hello Andree,

I haven't created any sheets like this yet. It's a hypothetical idea at the moment, but as dynamic QR codes become more widely used, I'm wondering how they can be utilized through Smartsheet.

Here's a potential situation: We have a fleet of vehicles. If we had a dynamic QR code on each vehicle, could we scan the code an then update associated info like mileage, defects, fluid levels? We are currently doing processes like this but with static barcodes associated with each vehicle and then entering the current information.

From what I understand, dynamic QR codes can track when and where the code was scanned, giving us more insight to our processes. I would be interested to learn more from anyone who has been using dynamic QR codes in Smartsheet.
