=INDEX(COLLECT Issues

Hi Smartsheet Community!

I’m having problems in getting the below formula to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

=INDEX(COLLECT({Risk Matrix 2 Range 4}, {Risk Matrix 2

Range 5}, [Current consequence]@row, {Risk Matrix 2 Range 6}, [Current likelihood]@row), 1)

I’m trying to grab the value in the third column when the it meets the value in column one and two of the sheet below. I’ve gotten various error types, the latest being INVALID VALUE.

Hi Jack Dearden

In this other post, Paul Newcome suggested to "double check that all of your ranges are the same size/shape meaning they are all referencing a single column or they are all referencing the same size/shape grid or whatever your particular case may be." He also mentioned that "with the INDEX function, you would only select the column that you want to pull from."

At a glance, it looks correct. Are the ranges the same?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some more screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
