Activity Log CSV Export - Bug
I just tried to export an activity log csv and I was sent an email to download a .zip (theoretically) with a csv inside. However, when I got the .zip there was no csv inside and when I tried to unzip I got an error message that said the zip file is corrupt.
Anyone experience this?

Hello @coby ,
Upon reviewing this, I am unable replicate the same issue. I recommend performing initial troubleshooting such as:
- Use an alternate browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc..)
- Use incognito mode / inprivate browsing
- Use an alternate device (Another PC, laptop, etc)
- Clear your browser's cache/cookies & your browser's history
- Sign out & Sign back In
If the issue continues to persist, I located a Microsoft Excel Article on this issue below that I recommend reviewing:
- Repairing a corrupted workbook
- You may also want to contact Microsoft Excel Support of the issue you are experiencing
Here are a couple articles on Troubleshooting from our Help and Learning Center that may also be helpful.
The issue you are getting when attempting to export into excel is also possibly due to the excel version you are using. If after taking these steps and then reviewing these articles you are unable to resolve this issue, reply with the following information so that we are better able to advise you.
- The version of Excel you are using
- If possible, a Copy of the Excel File you are trying to open
- Could you also please see if this is happening outside of your work network
- Please clarify what report you are specifically trying to download. Are you going to User Management and selecting More Actions > Download Sheet Access Report? Or are you selecting a specific user and choosing Download User Sheet Access Report?
- Please also try downloading a different report/file and let us know whether this file can be opened successfully. This will indicate if this is happening with all of the files found in User Management.
You may also want to try:
- Removing the .CSV at the end of the file name which may allow the file to be opened with the default zip application and the contained CSV file displays correctly after being unzipped.
Hope the above troubleshooting helps! Let us know if you have any questions.
Cheers!
