Regarding the sorting function for parent and child rows

I use Smartsheet to organize my project activities and i need the parent and child row to work properly.

Whenever i add a new customer for projects and sort the parent row in alphabetical order, the child row gets sorted too. This disrupts the project process. Can i sort the parent row and not sort the child row at the same time?
