Has anyone used the Live Data Connector to connect data from Smart Sheets to ArcGIS Dashboard or to Excel then Dashboard?

I found a similar question to this on the ArcGIS Community, here: Smartsheet link to ArcGIS Online
In this instance, they used the Smartsheet API for the connection. Here's information on the Smartsheet API, and a link to the API Documentation.

Hi @Genevieve P. Can you tell me if this connection can be used with Smartsheet GOV as well, or is this only available through the standard commercial account?

Hi @Laurie
I have not personally tried this on a regular account or a Gov account. That said, Gov accounts are able to use the Smartsheet API! Here's more information: https://smartsheet.redoc.ly/#section/Smartsheet-Gov

I want to provide an update to this, Make.com does offer this functionality. I am working to solidify a solution I am really still in the discovery phase but will provide a more detailed instruction once we have a success with it. HUGE value here.

Update:
I have discovered the proper way to engage this integration, it is no code and completely native to both Smartsheet and esri.

@Brittney Burton This can be done using python with smartsheet, arcgis imports.
Pull data directly from smartsheet, convert the data to a dataframe using pandas, then export the DF to a temp.csv.
then with the arcgis python import, you can update AGOL hosted feature layer with the csv data.
This can be automated using windows task scheduler, as well.
for more information read this article, which helped me achieve this result.
Sincerely,
Jacob Stey
