Using Smartsheet Template "Project Issues Log"
The Product Issues Log is a template from the Creating Risk and Issues log training. This template is supposed to automatically move an item from the Open area of the sheet to the lower closed area when it is closed. I know there is something that has to do with the formatting of the issue in the description column that allows this to work, but I can not remember what it is. Unfortunately it's past the time where I can go back and review the recorded training.

Hi @Gerald Barr
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible to move rows automatically in a sheet, but it's an excellent idea!

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- Use a report to show the information, and then it would "move" to the correct group.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic day!

You can absolutely do this. It requires a helper sheet. Move it out of current sheet to helper sheet and then automate it to move back into your current sheet and set to Move to Bottom.
