Nested If else statements with a hierarchy based on fields containing dates

I have 5 tech levels in my sheet that contain the date in which someone reached that level. I then have a column that needs to display the highest level that contains a date.

The Tech level for the first line should show as "Tech 1" as it is the highest level with a date, whereas the second and third rows would show a Tech level of "Tech 2".

    Hi @bonzemail

I hope you're well and safe!

    Try something like this.

    =
    IF([T5 Date]@row <> "", "Tech 5",
    IF([T4 Date]@row <> "", "Tech 4",
    IF([T3 Date]@row <> "", "Tech 3",
    IF([T2 Date]@row <> "", "Tech 2",
    IF([T1/Hire Date]@row <> "", "Tech 1")))))

    Did that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
