Dependencies not working

Hi,

It's just me, or the dependencies are just not working at all?

I see the only dependency that works somehow as expected are Finish-to-Start with a positive Lag.

Otherwise, I cannot find any logic on what Smartsheet is doing.

Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

Are you able to provide some examples of what is not working vs how you expect it to work?

I had an error in the dependencies, that's why it was not working.

It's very difficult to work with big plans with 100s of tasks.

Although I like Smartsheet's flexibility, it gets tricky for complex schedules, compared to MS Project.

Yes. It can get tricky when dealing with larger plans. There are some ways to help with that though. In some cases I will set "milestones" as a sort of wrap up/kick off point in between sections or set some of the sections' dependencies to previous sections instead of trying to link all of the child rows throughout (when possible).

Thanks. Yes, I do use milestones. I am PMP and I know dynamic scheduling techniques.
