Update Request - Access without Smartsheet Account
We are sending Update Requests to clients to provide a status of something. We are trying to write a quick tips for the client on how to respond to the update request without a Smartsheet account. We have been looking for a screen shot or information regarding what the client sees to add to our document and cannot find one. Does anyone know if this exists?
Process we know:
We email update request to client.
Client clicks Open
Client will be asked to log in
Client will click Microsoft button
Client will use Microsoft User Name and Password OR Office 365 user name and password for their company? (THIS IS WHERE I WOULD LIKE MORE DETAIL AND/OR SCREEN SHOTS)
Thank you

Update Requests sent to someone's email are actually much more simple than that! There's no need for the recipient to "log in" or know about Smartsheet at all.
- Email is sent to client.
- Client opens the email.
- The email has your custom message, then a link saying "Open Update Form"
- This button will open a new window with the form to fill out, no login required:
Once the user fills in the requested information and clicks "Submit Update", your sheet will be updated automatically. Here are some resources for you on Update Requests:
Let me know if I can clarify anything further for you!
Cheers,
Genevieve
