Donut Widget - Scale looks to be off

The blue portion of the donut does not reflect 33% complete of the entire donut. How do I make the blue section represent the % more accurately?

For pie charts, youβll need to include cells for each category that makes up 100%, but not include the total (i.e. summary of all categories). It will automatically sum the values from all categories to figure out what percentage of the whole that each category represents.

@Jason Duryea Thank you, but I am still not sure how to layout the data. If I want to show percent complete how would I lay out the below data points so that the donut chart is to scale? Total units 716. Total Units shipped 266. Percent complete 37%.

Hi @ju.harrison
You would need another cell that identifies the number of remaining units.
Ex:
716 - 266 = 450
Then the two data points you'll want in the chart are 266 for Shipped and 450 for remainder (which make a total of 716). Your Donut will show the percentage shipped versus remaining. Does that make sense?

The data source for your pie chart would reference cells with the grey selection box shown in the example below. I have numbers in my pie chart below, but if you switch it to percentage it will calculate correctly.
