Automating Document Generation and Print

We would like to automate the following:

"When a row is added, generate a specific document, and print to a specific printer".

The idea is that the visitor to the office fills in a form with their details and then those details are printed on a label using a specific printer (using "Document Builder" and print functionality) so that they can wear the label as a name tag as they go through the office.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now to automate it, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Using a 3rd-party integration.

Can you suggest a safe third party app? I have concerns about sharing data with too many providers and preferably would like to keep on one platform (Smartsheet).

I also desperately need to automate document creation. Is it possible with the API or not? What 3rd party app can be used to achieve this?

How many prints do you expect daily?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

Thank you for your reply. The process is simple:

I have a single document mapping for a sheet.

New row - Generate document automatically and email as attachment to email address in a "Contact email" Column which contains the destination email address.
