autopopulate cells in indented row
Hello,
We track projects in indented rows from parent columns. I was wondering if there is the capability to automatically fill in certain columns in the indented rows from the parents. I know that you can add the information in manually using =parent(), but I was wondering if there was a way so taht every time I create an indented row, certain columns are auomatically populated with that.
I hope this is clear. Thank you.

Hi @Eelin
I hope you're well and safe!
It depends. We could maybe use the Column-formula feature to automate it.
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hi everyone,
I've attached a screenshot of my smartsheet.
I would like the information in the parent row (clone, Lot No., Clonality, etc.) to populate automatically into all the child rows.
Thank you!
