Changing the name of Sender - Emails?
Good Afternoon Smartsheet Community,
How can I change the Sender name of the emails?
Currently its saying "my fullname" via smartsheet automation@app.smartsheet.com"
I don't want my name displayed in all the emails it's sending as I currently create reports.. so every report automation it sends it out as if I am sending it out.

@AusKee I addressed the same issue by creating a licensed user with the name Workflow Support. If there is a sheet with workflow in it, and I want the alert to have a generic name in the sending email address, I transfer ownership of the sheet to Workflow Support.
It costs one SS license, an email address (which you should have control over because you need to approve the ownership transfers), and a bit of admin.

This would work... But, for the several reports I have I'd like to get a custom name for each. Wish under automation it let us change the sender name.

You could put the report name (or whatever you want as custom name) in the subject line of the message (first create a column to hold the value).

Have there been any changes to this since September 2021? I'm sorry, but I think that is a terrible workaround to use a licensed user. It should be a setting within the automated workflow.
If there is a workaround, then there should be a feature so it there isn't a workaround.
