Formulas for auto creating start time / end time based on duration - Event Runsheet
Hi, I am wanting to create an event runsheet.
I have a formula that automatically calculates the duration from start time / End Time but Im having trouble figuring out how to automatically calculate Start Time / End Time from Duration which is more Ideal.
I could enter a Start Time & End Time in the parent row and then in all child rows i just want to enter duration so the Start Time / End Time automatically calculate with formulas.
i know formulas to accommodate both 12 hour and 24 hour time are huge so i am happy to just use 24 hour time with colon separation (14:00) if thats more achievable. I would enter duration in minutes and it doesnt go over a day.
If anyone knows a formula for this it would be much appreciated
Kind Regards,
Christina

Hi @Paul Newcome i did already look through this thread and I didn’t think there was anything that was applicable to this situation although there is a lot of comments I may have missed it but I have looked twice? I see even the last comment is someone asking the same sort of thing as me? I want to put in 40 in duration and the finish time auto calculates ( the next rows start time also has formula to pick up the row befores finish time) for a run sheet - everything seems to be formulas for calculating duration but I am trying to calculate start time and end time from the duration…
