Locking Column to allow limited population

Hello,

Can a column be locked and allow only one cell to be populated by others?

Any help would be grateful.

You would have to lock the rows to be able to only allow entry into a single row.

Hi Paul,

essentially what I need is to lock the cells in a column except for one as highlighted in the attachment. I only need for others to edit and change the cell highlighted yellow. The other cells below I need to lock. Is this possible?

Yes. You would lock all rows other than that highlighted row. If you also want to restrict columns, then you would lock all columns except for that one. Owners and Admins can still change locked cells, but Editors/Viewers/Commenters cannot.
