Declare column as "number"-format

Dear Smartsheet Community,

is there a way to force a field to only accept numbers? I have seen that this is now possible using forms but is there a way to declare a column per default as integer or number column?

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

As a possible workaround, you could add a message showing if it's not a number.
