Hello SS Community - How do I link data from two different forms?


I have project intake and change request forms. I want the change request form to display the project name captured in the project intake form in a dropdown. I want the change request form to always reference the project intake for the project name. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    There currently isn't a way within the Smartsheet core application to automatically update a dropdown list in one sheet based on values in a second sheet. (Please provide your feedback to our Product team through this form, here!)

    Data Shuttle has the ability to update drop-downs from an excel file, if your plan has access to it.

    You could use a cross-sheet formula to display all the possible distinct Project Names in one cell, or perhaps use a Grouped Report on a Dashboard to identify all the options available, then have them write this in a Text/Number cell.
