How to collect the same data in time

Hi, I have a project management sheet which has a column named "Completion %". I want to read the value of that column for specific lines every Friday and use this data in a chart on a dashboard. What's the best way to do this? I would like to use a data grid to collect the data each week, the challenge is to keep past values has the values in the project sheet changes with time.

Hi,

One solution would be to create a move row trigger that runs wevery week and moves the specific rows to an archive sheet.

Therefore build a report /dashbord from that sheet ?

Hi. Thanks. I've done that before, but I was trying to find an alternate solution. Since the rows I would copy have children rows, the destination sheet quickly fills up... It would be nice to be able to lock a cell so even a automation wouldn't be able to change it. Or have something like "record a value" similar to "record a date", even better if that value could be recorded in another sheet. Christmas is coming, so we never know! :)
