Tracking & validation using a form
Hey community,
I'm wondering if it's possible to do tracking (accept/decline) using a form when other information already exists. This is a little confusing, so let me explain it better with an example:
If the information in the picture below already exists on a sheet, is there any way - for example - for Jill to fill out a form accepting her role on team Red in 2021 and have that "accept" show directly into row 1 under the Accept/Decline column without creating a new row? Does Smartsheet have the capability to do this kind of validation?
Thanks!

Smartsheet Forms always create new rows with each new submission. However, you could email someone an Update Request directly which would allow them to update a specific row. It opens up like a form from their email.
You can either send out a row manually or set up an automatic workflow to send out based on specific criteria.
